SAP FI/CO Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) Senior Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing and automating Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, while also leading workshops and engaging with international clients across the US, Canada, and Australia. Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver executive-ready insights are essential.

Responsibilies

• Lead solution architecture and design for SAP FICO in Public and Private Cloud environments.
• Drive automation of AP and AR processes, leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities, AI/ML, and workflow tools.
• Conduct client workshops to capture requirements, validate financial processes, and align on solution design.
• Design and implement end-to-end financial processes, including General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and integration with SD/MM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across modules.
• Provide thought leadership on SAP best practices, financial transformation, and digital finance strategies.
• Deliver executive-ready presentations, demos, and roadmaps tailored to client needs.
• Act as a trusted advisor for international clients, ensuring compliance with local and global accounting standards.
• Mentor consultants and delivery teams, fostering knowledge transfer and capability building.

Skills Required

• 8-10 years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 3+ years in Senior Consultant roles.
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
• Hands-on experience in automating AP/AR processes (e.g., invoice automation, payment runs, dunning, cash application).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct workshops and facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging international clients (US, Canada, Australia).
• Ability to craft executive-ready narratives and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAP Activate, Scrum) and project delivery frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience in mining, construction, or related industries.
• Exposure to SAP Joule, predictive analytics, and embedded AI capabilities for finance automation.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to design dashboards and reporting structures for financial and operational decision-making.
